As our company name suggests, we want to make tutoring "Ezy" for parents, students and tutors! We're super passionate about education and especially about maths. Helping a student reach levels of accomplishment that were previously unknown changes their life and sets them up for long term success. It's a "feel good" experience for the student, for parents...and of course for us! Our testimonials are the inspiration that keep us going through hard times. Tutoring works well when it is consistent, reliable, flexible and easy to manage ... otherwise, for a combination of reasons, we don't get the impact we want.
So here's how the service works: We will organise for a local Pacific Pines maths tutor to reach out to you and organise the time and day for the lesson. The tutor comes to you. You can have the tutoring as often or as little as you like. There are no booking fees or "extras" of any sort. You simply get an invoice at the end of each month for the tuition time used. Best of all, your first lesson works as a trial, so if for some reason the tutor isn't a good fit for your family, you won't be charged for that lesson!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Chloe is increasing in confidence in her maths ability which will dramatically assist her with her work. Chloe needs to understand that is ok to be wrong and not get unmotivated but rather work harder to try and correct her mistakes.
Frank has shown improvement in his attitude towards maths where he is more keen to learn and solve problems out of his own will - This is very positive. See above. Frank completes his homework each week and tries to the best of his ability. As mentioned above, a positive change in February was his mindset about maths and his keenness. The same work habits will be practiced - ie; Homework based on repetitive problem solving.
No major gaps in particular. The main issue is that James should get in the habit of revising in his own time so that content that was covered in previous lessons isn't forgotten. Again, self-revision is the main 'problem area'/gap.
Deepti has been working with my daughter on her year 9 Maths this year and we have seen a great improvement in both her skill level and her confidence. Deepti is very reliable, friendly and professional and I can highly recommend her skills as a tutor.
Dion is actually excited about Maths again and told me the other day I really like Maths now, after spending the majority of this year hating it and feeling down on himself because he just couldn't understand some of the strands and considered himself to be really bad at it, even though his results in NAPLAN and school reports did not reflect this, it was just that he had lost all confidence. So we are so excited for him, that he's gained that confidence back and he thoroughly looks forward to Nav coming every week. So just after 2 weeks, I want to say how beyond happy we all are with Nav and Ezy Math as an entire organisation. Your correspondence has been very thorough and extremely helpful with lots of great tips and explanations. You've managed to turn this Maths learning experience from a negative one to a positive in just a couple of weeks. We can't wait to see what great success Dion can achieve with the help of Nav.
Gracie, she has been very accommodating and has had the patience to work with my son. Even though I have not met her in person, she seems to be very dedicated.
