What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I think it is really rewarding to see students begin to understand the subject, especially if they are not very confident in the subject. I enjoy finding various ways to explain concepts to students, perhaps it could be rephrasing something or using examples, being there when a students has their moment of recognition is really fufilling
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths are being able to explain clearly and pretty concisely how questions can be solved. I think it is really beneficial to be able to explain why and how concepts were formed which is something I am able to provide. I'm patient and good at communication, which I think is a strength when working with younger students!
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing is to stay motivated and find different ways to help students learn. Part of this involves holding the belief that every student can succeed regardless of their skill ability, it is up to me (as a tutor) to provide time and patience to help them. I think it is also important to stay available with the student in case they have any questions and keep them updated on their progress to keep them equally as motivated!
