The method I taught wasn't very applicable to questions in the worksheet, being much better for dealing with decimals. Grabbing a question involving simple decimals might have helped show it off better.

Add larger objects to measure (largest was desk lamp), such as a fridge or TV. Also I planned too many activities for the lesson, although we only missed worksheets.
