What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The satisfaction in making a difference in someone is a big motivator for me. I love seeing someone slowly gain confidence and understanding in a subject they once found difficult. From tutoring my siblings and family friends, I’ve seen how even small breakthroughs can make a big impact. This motivates me to continue helping others.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my biggest strengths as a tutor is my patience and understanding. From what I've learnt from tutoring different family friends and family members, is that people learn at different rates and styles. Being able to understand these differences is key to being an effective tutor. I take the time to understand each student’s pace and preferred learning method, which helps me explain concepts in a way that truly clicks for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe listening and patience is very important in tutoring. Not all students learn at the same rate or have the same competency, being able to diagnose their way and rate of learning is key. By possessing patience as a tutor, it creates a supportive environment and invites the student to learn effectively without feelings of pressure, judgement or stress. I believe tailoring my style of teaching to the student's needs can turn their frustration into confidence.
