What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I most enjoy when a student finally understands a particular topic, nothing is more satisfying than seeing the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student. I also enjoy the challenge of having to prepare and fix the foundations that a student might be missing in a particular area, specifically maths. Students often don’t study mathematics effectively and being able to tailor my approach to each student’s learning style is very rewarding and helps me as a person become more adaptable.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my strengths are being extremely well organised, problem solving, figuring out what a student is struggling with and providing exact worksheets and tests for them to improve. I'm also great at giving uni course advice and VCE tips, this is certainly something that is not taught enough in schools and i'm very familiar with the VCE and VTAC systemMost important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be patient and listen. When a student is struggling or not fully grasping a topic, the last thing they need is a tutor who is going to get angry or annoyed if they haven't understood what they are trying to teach. I believe being patient and readjusting your approach is so much more important than just trying to force upon exam questions and content that they haven't learnt yet.Subjects Tutored 🎓
