Verified Tutor
Natalie is an enthusiastic engineering student with a strong secondary school record in maths and science, making her well suited to support primary and lower secondary students. She was one of only a small group of students selected for a specialised Girls in Aerospace & Defence STEM program, and also chosen for a STEM mentoring program with a research institute. These experiences mean she is used to tackling challenging concepts and explaining them clearly, skills she brings directly into her tutoring.
Throughout secondary school, this tutor consistently held leadership roles, including multiple years as a digital learning (eLeader) representative and homeroom representative. This involved helping classmates with technology, communicating with teachers and supporting peers who were struggling. These roles have given Natalie the confidence to guide younger students, listen carefully to their concerns and adjust explanations until the student genuinely understands.
Natalie brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach that many students find easy to relate to. Outside study, she enjoys soccer, basketball, music (piano and guitar), drawing, painting and board games, and she is happy to use these interests to make examples in maths and problem-solving more engaging. Comfortable with computers and digital tools, she can incorporate interactive resources and online activities to keep lessons varied, practical and enjoyable for school-aged learners.
