What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

I used to struggle with some subjects in school and so to help myself I would create stories and other interpretations of the same concept so it would stick better in my mind. I helped some of my close friends do the same and found joy in seeing their marks improve. I would love to do the same for Ezymath.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I believe I am patient and understanding if students cannot quite grasp content seeing as I used to be the exact same.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

A tutor can help increase a student confidence in a subject. Confidence is important in academics and can cause an improvement in marks, mental wellbeing and overall happiness in students. Good marks and confidence can take students further in their learning and make them want to know more about the subject rather than find it as a chore.

About Angana

Emerging tutor with a strong communication background

Angana is a first-year Speech Pathology student, so clear communication and language development are at the heart of what she studies every day. This gives her a solid foundation for supporting primary and lower high school students in English, especially in reading, speaking and writing with confidence. Through her studies, she regularly breaks down complex ideas into simple steps, a skill she brings into tutoring sessions to help students understand instructions, structure their work and build stronger language skills.

Mentoring experience with younger children

Angana has hands-on experience mentoring younger children at a childrenโ€™s camp, where she helped guide activities, explain tasks and support kids who needed extra encouragement. This experience has taught her how to connect quickly with children, keep them engaged and adapt her explanations to different learning styles. She is used to managing small groups, giving gentle direction and creating a calm, friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying again.

Patient, organised and relatable study support

As a current university student, this tutor understands the pressures of homework, deadlines and exams, and she uses this insight to help school students build better study habits. Angana is highly organised, with proven time management skills from balancing study, volunteering and work. In sessions, she focuses on planning homework, breaking tasks into manageable chunks and showing students simple ways to stay on top of their workload. Her calm, patient manner helps students feel at ease while steadily lifting their confidence.
