What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
One of the aspects that I enjoy most about tutoring is the tangible process and improvement that can be seen and the sense of gratification that a student can get in boosting their knowledge and grades. As satisfying as it is for the student to experience, it is also gives me a sense of fulfilment for being able to make even just a small change in someones education.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths lie in my ability to tailor my teaching and interactions to each individual student, understanding that everyone has their own way of learning. As a result of this, I am able to quickly adapt when needed and devise new strategies to approach a problem. I am also incredibly understanding of how overwhelming content can be, and am always away of the importance of being patient and considerate of ones emotions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The biggest thing a tutor can do for a student is to be encouraging and respectful, cultivating a safe environment in which they feel that they can pose questions and share answers without fear of judgement. In doing so, it makes the intake of knowledge easier and an overall more enjoyable experience. A tutor must also show a genuine interest in the student's improvement, offering support and on top of their own apprehension of the material.
