Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 7 English tutors in Alkimos available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
First session was working on a booklet to make his conceptual understanding better and then worked on his multiplication and subtraction Second session was to make sure the student finishes the assignment due on Friday Third session was working on addition and subtraction leaving the assignment till next week
Emilee has a can do attitude and a willingness to learn new methods which is no able feat since she isn't fond of maths. Occasionally she can get distracted but once she's on the question and she is completely focused on it she can easily solve it.
I don't believe Stephanie has many gaps and problem areas in particular maths concepts, rather that she just needs to make of her knowledge automatically recalled rather than havening to recalculate these from scratch each time. This will make it easier for her to complete problems rather than getting lost in the problem and will give her confidence in her ability to succeed. This will also allow her to tackle worded problem and apply this knowledge into more complex situations.
We were extremely satisfied with our tutor. She helped Chantal immensely and since then Chantal has done very well in school. Her Naplan results came back today and they were above the National and her School marks. Ezy Math was very helpful and understanding and I have nothing but praise for the company.
I have used other tutors and tutor services in the past however the difference with ezymath was that I received regular reports on how my son was progressing and also tips and tools to enhance his learning. The tutoring is very structured and also disciplined which kept my son on track. Yesterday we received his year 9 Naplan results and he achieved a Band 10, and his results last semester at school were excellent and his confidence and ability has improved immensely , many thanks to ezymath and his fantastic tutor.
Ezy Math tutoring gave me an invaluable opportunity and experience. With fortnightly advice, support and materials I was able to give my all to my students. The reward being an invaluable satisfaction when the mother heard from my students' teacher that her work was really improving. I really enjoyed the experience and always left the students feeling like I had made a change. For prospective tutors I would say Ezy Maths is a great place to work, they provide plenty of materials, support and the staff are very co-operative and understanding about your needs
