Learning science takes a lot of effort. Students not only need to know the content, but how they can use concepts, when they can use them and why it's the right approach in a given situation.
Scientific thinking isn't easily acquired, but the skills are useful across fields and many future careers are built on them. It's a fascinating field with many applications - that's why students choose to put in the time and learn it.
Most students manage to stay afloat or even excel at physics all on their own, they master most steps along the way. However, sooner or later everyone needs help.
Learning how to analyse and solve problems as physicists do is an enormous leap. So how can you get involved and make it just a bit easier for your child?
One way to lift the burden off your child's shoulders is finding someone who will be there when they need it. If they have someone they can relate to, with the right approach at the right time, students tend to achieve their goals easier.
This is how to get started.
Once you reach out to us we can allocate a local Allenview physics tutor within a day or two.
We set up the first lesson at your home, whenever works for you, and we charge a simple hourly rate. The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
Sounds simple enough?

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Morris and I have been working on some confidence lately - we have come across some tricky problem solving where it is easy to become disappointed and give up. After working through some problems with me Morris realised that he does have the skills to do them, and I think that confidence boost will help him complete them on his own. We are also working on integrating skills learnt in previous maths topics into the current one, and avoiding depending on rules or set methods to solve problems.
Very good attitude. Wants to learn, and enjoys solving problems. Zois always attempts problems and puts pen to paper. Has attempted all homework tasks and always makes a good effort within the time constraints. Consistently good.
There has been significant improvement in her work. She has become more self reliant about most of the things so there is not much of gap that I can mention. At times she loses focus and tends to give up but little motivation gets her back on track.
Madeline was a great tutor, friendly, easy going and understanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their studies
Stephanie is really enjoying tutoring with Jia Jia. Jia Jia is very easy going and Steph is happy with how it's all going. Thanks for being so organised and informative. It's made the experience smooth!
Jack and Justin are getting along well. Jack seems to have to continued to improve since Justin started tutoring.
