we are processing rather smoothly on year 4 stuff, such as average/median/mode, algebra expression such as using x to represent numbers, perimeter and area, percentage, etc. some areas Zac have talent and confidence in while some require skills in working the problem
Bonnie is keen and motivated to improve her maths skills. She remains keen to demonstrate her speed and accuracy in maths. Bonnie puts lots of effort in to show her ability to complete all the maths problems presented. Bonnie is working on improving her writing skills to ensure that she doesn't confuse numbers.
At the start of the month Dale still needed a bit of help with algebra and measurements. Throughout this month we have worked on both topics and he is becoming more able to do them without input from me. As previously mentioned, Algebra and Measurement are Dale's weaker points - however these have been worked on, and will continue to be worked on in the coming months.
I am confident that Mandeep's approach is just what Hugo and Havier need to lift their confidence and capabilities to be the best they can be.
