Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 2 English tutors in Badgerys Creek available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Sam's now much more comfortable in admitting there is an issue with a concept. This makes him so much easier to tutor as we can completely cover a topic to completion, instead of backtracking later on discovering there was a gap in his learning.
Very good attitude during the classes, was staying focused through the entire class and was working very well! When Tej knew how to solve an exercise, she puts a lot of effort in it to succeed. The only part where there is a small lack of effort is when she doesn't know where to start and she gives up a little bit too quickly. Tej is clearly a very hard working student and also seems eager to learn! She was a very enjoyable student to have.
Knowledge gaps in geometry in several particular areas including internal/external angles of polygons, identifying and providing reasoning to difficult questions about angle equality. Geometry: Difficulty in applying several previously learnt concepts and rules to answer advanced geometry questions Algebra: Small amount of silly mistakes and needs to be careful when dealing with the addition or multiplication of algebraic fractions.
Karla's tutoring is going very well. Hilario has a lovely manner and approach and Karla seems to be getting on very well with him. They have talked about getting the basics right and he's teaching her tips to remember key things as Karla becomes very stressed in exams and cannot concentrate. So hopefully this approach will help.
Noah is doing well so far with Michelle as his tutor. He is starting to improve with his understanding of Maths and is happy with the way Michelle is working with him. I think as time goes by and he becomes more confident that he will improve more.
So far so good. Freddy is lovely and Oscar seems to be settling into having a tutor really well.
