Chemistry can seem a bit technical. It's all abstract formulas and content that seems impossible to learn and barely manageable to memorise. The material keeps piling up and how are students supposed to truly learn anything when they're constantly missing something and falling behind? And it's not only about the grades. Chemistry can seem a bit technical. It's all abstract formulas and content that seems impossible to learn and barely manageable to memorise. The material keeps piling up and how are students supposed to truly learn anything when they're constantly missing something and falling behind?
And it's not only about the grades. Sure, students who struggle with chemistry want to pass that test and get their grades up. It's usually their only end goal and that's completely understandable. However, we've found that once students start catching up and chemistry doesn't seem like such an enormous hurdle, their self-confidence improves as well.
When they have someone to guide them, make sense of the clutter of information and demands, students tend to struggle less in other areas as well. Your child could feel less anxious about tests and their performance, learn how to tackle tough situations and become more independent, all with the help of a local Bendigo chemistry tutor.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Niamh is persisting with the strategies with great confidence. Most the learning principals stated, she does sub-consciously but its about encouraging her and building upon these skills. Niamh is a very confident girl who is not shy to tackle more challenging work and this attitude will hold her in good stead for the future.
She has shown a lot more logical thinking since my first week with her. I have been impressed with the way she has picked things up and has applied similar rules to similar problems. She seems a lot more excited to do maths compared to my first week with her as well.
I will continue to address algebraic concepts, and consistently increase the difficulty when required. When Annie loses confidence in her ability to complete a question she does get easily distracted and try to go off topic, but I will continue to work with her on breaking down and simplifying what looks like a complex question.
Ezy Math is one of the most professional tutoring agencies I have worked for. The time and effort it put into it's tutors and the feedback they provide to students and their families is to be admired. Tutoring is a very rewarding experience. Being able to see those precious 'Ahh' moments daily is a gift.
