Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Beveridge, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Beveridge English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Sanj is utilising all of these strategies adequately during tutorials however needs to extend the use of these strategies to her overall study habits, particularly weekly school-assigned homework and exam preparation.
Overall Ava's attitude in sessions is very good. She always come to the table with focus and purpose. She does occasionally slip into the hole of "I just don't know," but it's always the case that you know SOMETHING about a problem so we're working on shifting this attitude bit by bit. Otherwise she always attempts the homework and is engaged. I'll be able to make more comments on this once the term begins.
Gabby struggles with interpreting the meaning of questions and working out what it requires her to do. More practice questions are needed to help overcome this struggle. This does not only apply to test preparation; it applies to learning at all times in maths.

Kareem is so happy with John. He is very comfortable with him and feels a lot more confident. I can see the difference in Kareem's attitude, thank you.
Kelly is a fantastic tutor & lovely person who clicked with Emily immediately and Emily noticed her own improvement within days. Emily sat her Maths semester exam 3 weeks later after having Kelly there was a big improvement!!! Thank you for referring Kelly to Emily and we look forward to having her tutor Emily for as long as we can!
Working at EzyMath Tutoring is really rewarding. I have been able to work with students to build their confidence and evolve them into independent learners. You build relationships and trust with students so they feel comfortable with you - even if it is saying they don't understand! It's amazing to see them improve their maths skills with increased confidence. Even better is seeing them smile and light up with excitement when they tell you of their great achievements at school.
