The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
He is improving with his backchecking, though still has some way to go to be better safeguarded against some silly mistakes. His confidence has a little way to go but is also getting better. Our most recent sessions are about the chain rule, product rule and quotient rule, so he's not avoiding rule dependency but that is entirely understandable, I wouldn't expect him to do it by sight as of yet.
Still as keen and enthusiastic as always towards learning new mathematics content. Always puts in the best effort he can to achieve better outcomes. Homework being received is performed at a high level as expectations towards certain grades are being met.
There are some aspects of the foundations of maths were not quite as developed as others and therefore had only a few gaps in the basic elements of maths. The areas of maths that were causing the most grief for Samuel were Trigonometry and the addition, subtraction and division of fractions, despite them being covered at length.
We are very happy with the tutoring from Heloise, she and Genevieve get on very well. Genevieve will be in touch with Heloise to book more lessons.
Renee and Ava have hit it off and they are already achieving results , we couldn't be happy with Renee, she is polite, adaptable, easy to get along with and relates really well with Ava.
