No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Bluewater chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Bluewater, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Em still has a bit of trouble recalling old topics in the context of new content. This is pretty normal and just something to continually practice. Other than that her learning strategies are unchanged .
Although Mariah has a slightly negative attitude towards her ability to complete math, she puts in a great amount of effort during class and always makes an effort to complete her homework. Her work habits could improve, such as remembering to bring math textbooks to lessons and having a pencil, pen, eraser and protractor (when learning angles) ready for class.
From this point, the only problem areas occur with difficult and tricky questions. This is where I would like to see Graeme use all available resources to his disposal. This is also a critical time for Graeme to further develop his knowledge in areas and address any gaps that we were yet to cover.
Yes we are very happy, Kane is away this week but we will be continuing through the school holidays.
Anthony is happy with his tutor and seem to work well with him. So all good so far.
Ethan is finding the tutoring to be very helpful st this time. Tiffany is very patient and organised and I can see that both children will get great benefit from the sessions
