Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Buderim, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Buderim English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Antione has made great progress over the past month and is getting better at speaking out loud when working through problems. He works really well when we draw diagrams and pictures to work through problems and is starting to get better and picking up patterns.
Very focussed. Impressive for a grade 2 student. Always concentrates, completes homework set Only one sessions as a bit distracted but always completes set work in the end A lot of effort. Homework completed. Knows what is going on in school and is very well presented Solid. Is up to date with school activity. I suspect that the parents are helping her outside of class. They seem very keen on improving her maths. It is rare for a grade 2 to be so prepared.
Liam still needs work on bearings, word problems, remembering to write out formulas before commencing work and probability, but I have no doubt these can easily be worked on. As said above, there are a few problematic topics remaining but these shall definitely be addressed over the coming weeks.

Sam has been great, easy to communicate and arrange times & dates has been great. Sam takes pride in his tutoring and is assisting Jacqueline with her studies. Thank you.
Ashleigh is working with Joshua nicely, thank you. They interact easily and Ash asks questions an feels comfortable with him.
We have only had a couple of tutoring sessions so far but it has been a very short term, however the couple of sessions that we have had with Jonathan have been very good so we are very happy. We look forward to next term and Mia getting the assistance that she needs with her maths. Jonathan explains things well and is very kind and patient. So far, all good.
