Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through QCE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Carindale to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Carindale chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
He is starting to talk aloud, which is a learning strategy where you talk out loud about how to answer questions. However he still needs a bit of encouragement to do so, but since the start has gotten better.
keelie has a bad attitude when it comes to being confident always putting her self down before attempting the question` keelie always puts in effort but i feel like she doesnt give it her all keelie has solid work habits but has bad habits such as leaving things behind when completing work elsewhere and not keeping track of work done
No significant gaps as of now She needs to occasionally revise and re-visit old concepts, because I noted she had forgotten how to perform long division. Try to revise old material from time to time so that you're always abreast of what happens at school.
We have had 2 Tutoring lessons with Ishita so far and we are very happy. Ishita is a delightful and intelligent young woman and Emily and I felt comfortable the minute we met her. She is quite an effective tutor and we look forward to get continuing her tutoring of Emily. Thank you for your support.

Yes - Bailey is happy with Reshmi. She's good at explaining how he should be breaking down the question in order to get the answer for the problem. As he only has less than 2 months before the HSC they've been working on a plan to get Bailey to work on and improve his maths.
