Local Reviews

Are you frustrated with existing Tutoring service providers? See little or no improvement in the engagement levels of your child? Is your investment and support reflected in increased confidence and desire to achieve greater results coming across? EzyMath are open, honest, listen and share in your vision. With a high calibre of qualified teachers, across both Math and English, our boys (yr 9 and yr 10) have really lifted their game thanks to our tenacious Tutor. From scores ranging between 60's, 70's and 80's those gaps were proactively identified and worked through over the school summer holidays. First day back one of our son's sat his yr 10 pre test in math, and scored 100%. Speechless, but not surprised. EzyMath are true to their name and operating philosophy. Every interaction has been a pleasure, quality tutor that comes to us, at a very competitive rate. 10 stars!

Inside EppingTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 11 student Adam worked through differential equations and tackled kinematics problems, using sample exercises to strengthen understanding of both solution methods and real-world applications.

Year 10 student Sana focused on exponential word problems in maths, as well as motion topics for Physics, including interpreting velocity-time graphs.

Meanwhile, a Year 7 student reviewed surface area formulas for cylinders and extended this by practicing volume calculations for various prisms.

Recent Challenges

In Year 8 maths, a student repeatedly left homework incomplete and avoided harder fraction questions; as one tutor observed, "he gave up too easily when the example changed slightly."

In Year 11 methods, a different student's working was messy and hard to follow in differential calculus problems—steps were missing, making errors tough to spot.

Meanwhile, a Year 10 student forgot key materials for studying surface area formulas and struggled to organize notes for revision. These habits led to lost marks on tests and wasted time re-learning content that could have been consolidated with regular practice and clearer written work.

Recent Achievements

One Epping tutor recently noticed a Year 12 student who used to get stuck on calculus questions now breaking down graph-based problems independently, even explaining how each part of the graph connects to different solution steps.

Another high schooler has shifted from silent confusion in algebra to actively asking for help when she's unsure and using backtracking methods more confidently—she even tackled simple differentiation without prompting this week.

Meanwhile, a Year 5 student who would only attempt long division after demonstrations is now completing full sets of problems on his own, finishing all questions correctly during the session.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Lalor Library—or at your child's school (with permission), like St Peter's School.
