No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Forreston chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Forreston, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
The student demonstrated strategy in self note taking, she had tried record rule and formula in her own words to get closer to the concept. However, she might need develop the skill to use drafting paper more frequently, use paper to express her understanding and thinking concept, as currently, Niyah used to think herself and usually will stuck somewhere in the concept.
Isabella has been great with her work in that she will always do any question she has been given, and will even ask for questions involving topics she is unsure about, such as the km/h questions, so that she can learn them. She can get distracted during lessons and not always take them seriously, however I think this is more due to her busy lifestyle and being tired.
Mia has not been thoroughly taught the basic fundamentals of algebra by her year 8 and year 9 maths teachers. However, I am pleased to see a drastic improvement in her new understandings and skills of these fundamentals, as we have been covering as much of these groundings as possible. In terms of her understanding, there are not a lot of problem areas and she is on the right track - as long as she keeps doing practice questions!
