Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests. Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning. Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Invermay biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Invermay. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
This month we have been working on back checking work, looking for simple mistakes which may cost marks on an exam. Overall Christopher is getting more and more confident with this which I believe will help in tests.
Sonia is right on top of it when getting homework down, understanding that she does not know everything in the world but knowing that by having mistakes means opportunity to grow and that is driving her especially during lessons.
Zoe should attempt to begin answering questions by herself without needing to look back on past questions. Zoe should bear in some minor issues, such as positive and negative signs, and the ordering of steps in solving algebraic expression foundations.

I know it is only early days but Harley and Owen seem to have '˜clicked'. They are working really well and not only is Harley's confidence growing but also his understanding of the maths chapters they have been studying has improved. I no longer have to hassle him to do his homework - always a bonus!
Henry has had 3 sessions with Justin so far, and it is going very well. His current topic is algebra and he feels that he is benefitting from the additional assistance. Justin is punctual, helpful (even stayed back an extra 10-15 minutes last week to help Henry with a problem-solving sheet) and is very pleasant to have around.
Thank you for your email. I am really enjoying working with David, he makes the study fun and very interesting. We're working through some gaps in my knowledge and then I am greatly looking forward to getting into the much more complicated and exciting math.
