Listen, and understand why they've been having difficulties in their study. Only then can the tutor truly be able to help the student get past these in order to make learning fun again. I'm a fast learner, excellent communicator and problem solver, and most of all, i take the time to listen in a calm and patient manner. I believe this last…

Well I believe the most important thing is to get the student to feel comfortable with what they're having trouble with as it will build their confidence and allow them to move on and do the work with minimal help. I am very passionate about Maths and enjoy doing it. I am very reliable, punctual, friendly and…

I believe that while grades are important, they are not always completely comprehensive of a student's ability in a subject. If the student is able to walk away from a session being able to understand the concept and feel interested and confident with it, they not only will gain better results in exams but will have a better idea of the subject as…

The most important thing a tutor can do for is a student is to aid them in whatever way is needed as to help them achieve their greatest academic potential. My biggest strength is understanding that everyone does not learn in the same way and different individuals require different ways of being…

I think to build a relationship and to find the best ways for the student to learn. There are no right or wrong ways to learn and everyone is different, so finding that way is very important. I am a good listener and very patient as I know how hard things are to learn for the first time. I am also quite knowledgeable in most stem subjects, and I…

Help them to understand the topic and content they are learning as best they can whilst also guiding them on an efficient study path to maximise results I believe I am a very strong tutor in the areas of maths of physics. I achieved 50/50 on my internal assessments in specialist maths and physics in grade 12. I see one of my main strengths to be…

Physics Tutor Clear Island Waters, QLD
It is vital that a tutor can assist in building their student's confidence. With believing that they have the necessary abilities, the student can achieve their goals. Furthermore, it is extremely important that a tutor can learn to understand how a student learns in order to be able to work with them in the most beneficial way. I believe that I…

Contacting EzyMath Tutoring was one of the best decisions that I have made for my grandaughter, not only did they get it right the first time with Reyna the follow up and communication sends EzyMath Tutoring to the "top of the class".

Inside MolendinarTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 6 student Connor worked through unit conversions for length, volume, and mass, as well as measurement skills using practical examples.

For Year 9, Emily focused on analysing data by calculating mean, median, mode, and range, plus graphing histograms to visually interpret results.

Meanwhile, Year 10 student Seb tackled linear equations—plotting graphs and finding gradients and y-intercepts—and also practised rearranging algebraic formulas to make x the subject.

Recent Challenges

In Year 8 algebra, a student avoided writing full working when rearranging equations—"minimal writting" led to confusion over steps, especially in worded problems.

A Year 10 learner didn't complete assigned textbook questions before an upcoming exam, which meant they missed feedback on significant errors in significant figures tasks.

In senior maths, forgetting to bring necessary materials caused late starts and lost learning time: "I waited 10min outside."

Meanwhile, a Year 7 student repeatedly practiced only familiar times tables (like 8×4), but shied away from trickier drills or new patterns, slowing their recall under pressure.

Recent Achievements

A tutor in Molendinar noticed one Year 4 student, who used to get stuck on times tables, now recalling her 8s without prompts and explaining why order of operations matters—something she hesitated with before.

In a recent high school session, a Year 10 student independently identified gradients and y-intercepts when plotting linear functions; last term he needed step-by-step reminders for these.

Another high schooler showed new initiative by tackling the "improvement" section of her maths work herself, rather than waiting for hints, and finished all assigned calculations during the session.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Mobile Library Service—or at your child's school (with permission), like Trinity Lutheran College.
