What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students achieve what they would like to achieve. From previous experience, my year 9 student was struggling with maths and kept getting grades like C and D, however, after finding her weaknesses, I tried to help her understand the main concept before attempting other questions, and then made her do the questions. This made her improve her confidence with the main concept, and she no longer hesitated doing questions that seem to be challenging. From this experience, I thought teaching others and helping them to achieve beneficial outcomes is very rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a tutor who can genuinely inspire my students to accomplish their goals. Other tutors might have achieved high ATARs and high WAMs. I have also achieved great academic results, and furthermore, my communication skill is what my previous students liked the most. I always encourage students to be confident with their working, and try to provide remedies for their weaknesses so that they do not make same mistakes again, by having consistent conversations and getting feedback from students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors should be able to genuinely inspire their students to perform at their best. Tutors should not only help their students get better grades, but also should be able to be role models of students, and can genuinely communicate with their students, because one of the most important skills that tutors should have is the ability to establish a strong trust with their students. When they become role models, friends, amazing tutors of students, students will be able to get motivated and work harder.
