What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I greatly enjoy seeing children have a ‘light bulb moment’ when they understand a concept or idea for the first time, especially if it had taken some persistence and time to perceive it. I also enjoy connecting with students and having a positive impact on their day.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My greatest strength as a tutor is being able to explain content in a variety of ways. If a child doesn’t understand the content how it is initially presented, I can explain it in a way that makes sense to their learning style. I have a remarkable understanding of Mathematics and Physics in the SACE. I have great interpersonal skills which helps create connection and engagement from a student and strong communication with parents.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most valuable thing a tutor can do is show children that learning can be easy, enjoyable, and rewarding. Tutors are positive role models to students and can be academic mentors to them which has great influence to their entire wellbeing.
