What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring as I believe a great tutor can stimulate students’ interests in learning and bring positive impacts to students both on the specific subject and their perspectives for learning in general.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I was fortunate to have taken lessons with some great tutors when I was back in school, so I know what great tutors do and how great an impact they can bring to a student’s life. Having worked as a professional tutor and provided tutoring to my course mates at university and my younger brother, I understand it is key to relate to the student’s ability & situation and utilize different teaching methods to accommodate their needs and understandings. In addition, I have passion for mathematics myself which has helped me achieve HDs on math-related courses at university.

I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student are as below: - Build up confidence of the student on the subject and on their learning ability - Encourage their creativity, authenticity and interests in learning - Develop their learning ability & learning habits which they can benefit from for a lifetime.
