What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The satisfaction and relief when my student finally understands concepts and when they achieve high grades on their assessments.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a recently graduated student, i understand the entirety of the SACE system, thus can help provide an advantageous edge to my students. As a graduate with a competitive ATAR (top 2%) I have in depth knowledge of the curriculum and of subjects. Additionally, my recent graduation ensures the knowledge is still fresh. Further, achieving a GPA of 6.5/7.0 in my last semester of university is indicative of my dedication to thoroughly learning new topics, something I am more than willing to do if the curriculum sees a change.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important is working to the individual’s strengths and approaching things in ways they will understand, offering a tailored learning experience.
I also firmly believe immediate repetition combined with increasing-interval repetition is a vital component of consolidating knowledge and methods, ensuring my student’s understanding does not diminish over time. For instance, a mathematical process or chemical concept is understood, I will require them to practice it by answering 5-10 questions, following up with additional questions after an hour, a day and a week.
