What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I incredibly enjoy most about my experience in informal tutoring is the fulfillment in witnessing the progress firsthand. Seeing the learner remember and apply what was taught really brings a smile to everyone's face.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are:
1. Patience - I am willing to explain things as many times as necessary without frustration.
2. Adaptability - I believe an effective tutor is someone that can be flexible to suit the individual needs and learning styles of the learner.
3. Positive attitude - I also strongly believe that enthusiasm and having a positive attitude is contagious and encourages a more enjoyable learning experience.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider confidence building and personal growth to be the most important things a tutor can do for a student. Confidence building is important in a way that the learner becomes self-assured in their abilities to take on challenges and in turn creates a "ripple" effect on their overall academic performance. This in turn leads to personal growth since learning is not just about academics - it is also a way to development in other aspects of life. This includes having the learner to continue being curious (to seek knowledge) and face and eventually overcome challenges.
