What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a child I grew up taking tutoring classes and it provided me the opportunity to be able to learn concepts of particular subjects before learning it in school and having such a deeper understanding of the unit. My mother was also a tutor, which inspired me to start tutoring as I would be able to make such a positive impact on someone's learning journey. As a tutor I want to help others succeed academically while also providing a fun and enjoyable environment. Helping other students grow academically and being a reason why they perform excellent in their studies is such a joyful feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Becoming a tutor while being around the similar age group as the students, it allows me to communicate and teach subjects in a way that they find enjoyable and comfortable. I have a great amount of patience and empathy, willing to understand and help students in areas of certain concepts they struggle to understand because once I was that same child that was in the same situation but was not provided any guidance or help. Being motivated and enthusiastic to teach others makes it very easy to tutor students as I will be willing to put in that time and effort to help them grow academically.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a tutor it is extremely important to make sure that when teaching concepts it's at a pace where the student can actually understand what's going on and isn't falling behind. Being able to help students who are unable to understand a concept and not singling them out, as it would only lower their confidence and they would never answer questions. Providing a fun and enjoyable environment will allow more students to engage and ask questions more frequently.
