What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to see that I am truly helping someone with a problem they are struggling with and knowing that I am making a difference
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strength as a tutor is that I was able to get my high grades in high-school through diligence and hard work and not through natural intuition, meaning that I am most likely able to relate with a student's struggles with grasping certain concepts and thus am able to help them in a more efficient way.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is create a close enough relationship with the student so that the student believes they can trust the tutor and not be scared to ask questions, thus maximising the help they can recieve.

Ari was able to round any number to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand with minimal difficulty. Ari was also able to follow the long division process whilst I demonstrated it to him.
Ari still needs to be exposed to more long division to get a good grasp of the whole process in his head.
Ari was able to know what two numbers a number is in in between in order to know possible numbers a number can be rounded to.
Ari was able to know what two numbers a number is in in between in order to know possible numbers a number can be rounded to.
Ari still needs to grasp what rounding actually means and that when you round to a ten for example, this isn't limited to numbers below 90 and can include higher numbers.

Ari was able to improve his understanding of negative numbers and how to add them to each other and positive numbers. He also learnt that if the digit is 0-4 you round down and if the digit is 5-9 you round up
Although Ari is able to deal with addition and subtraction using negative numbers, he still needs a number line to help him so in the future he needs to be able to improve his mental visualisation in order to do these simple problems in his head. When rounding, Ari isn't able to identify what two number the question's number is in between in order to know what to choose whether or not the number is to be rounded down or up.
Ari was able to fully understand the process to multiply two numbers together and was consistently able to solve problems with minimal assistance.
Ari was able to fully understand the process to multiply two numbers together and was consistently able to solve problems with minimal assistance.
Although Ari was able to do multiplication questions very well, his working out is sometimes messy which can mess up the addition process. This can be fixed by practicing with a grid book. Also Ari hasn't fully memorised all his timetables which impedes his ability to perform more difficult questions. This can be solved via practice also.
