What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The impact words can have towards learning. It is really rewarding to have someone that will be a part of the future challenge themselves and grow as a result of what I've taught them.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm very patient as I've tutored both physically and mentally disabled children. I know everyone grows at their own pace, and it's not my place to accelerate it, rather it's my job to make sure they're comfortable and engaging with their growth.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Understanding is very important for a tutor. Students at every stage are constantly growing and having to navigate life, which is always difficult. Tutoring should not be a stressful experience, it should be one where a student is looking forward to supplement their learning. Students have to want to learn and it's the tutor's job to keep them wanting to learn. Otherwise students tend to use tutors as a means of finishing homework and not genuinely understanding the material. To me it's all about understanding that and using different approaches.
