What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing my students gain confidence in their problem solving skills - I find tutoring most rewarding when I can see distinct progress in my students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I pride myself on being patient. I believe strongly that it is up to the teacher to explain concepts in ways that make sense to the student, so I like to adapt my explanations to my student's unique way of learning. I also think I'm pretty relaxed and approachable, having worked with kids and teens before.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think a tutor should empower students to think for themselves, as this is what is required for the student to succeed independently when taking exams. So the most important thing I could do as a tutor is to encourage students to work out answers rather than giving it to them immediately.
