What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
At the start of meeting students, my favorite thing about tutoring is getting to know a little bit about each student i teach. Throughout the process of tutoring them, i also love watching them grow and learn.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are that i am adaptable- i am great at adjusting my strategies to meet the students needs and learning style, patient- I understand that students learn at different paces and can make mistakes, which is part of the learning process ,and empathetic- I am good at empathizing with students when they struggle or are challenged by the content.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Personally, i believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make them feel comfortable. Students that don\'t feel comfortable won\'t learn as effectively, may try to miss sessions or will cancel there sessions. After the tutor has made the student feel comfortable, then the next most important step is finding out there learning style and teaching them content they need to learn. Yet, if the student becomes frustrated, angry or annoyed that they cant complete the work, the most important thing for the tutor to do is to make them feel comfortable again.
