What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the feeling of when the student is having trouble with a question, I am able to assist the student and seeing them become invigorated and motivated to continue working on the question. It is the most rewarding feeling.
I also enjoy breaking down questions in so many different ways and methods for students to understand to allow them to perceive why the answer makes sense for them to feel more confident in their mathematical understanding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor would be I believe I am able to myself in the students position by identifying where they are struggling and being able to explain the solution in multiple ways that is clear and concise for the student to follow.
I believe I am able to come up with fun and different kind of activities that can appeal to all of students, whether are a kinesthetic or visual learner.
When I come across a student who either does not like mathematics concept or does not understand it fully, I like to make it my mission to convince the student that this is really enjoyable and keep going.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to sympathize with the student. They should be able to understand why the student is struggling with a particular concept and able to help without any sort of negative effects.
Furthermore, a tutor needs to also show passion, energy and motivation for their students. A tutor needs to provide students new ways to allow them to feel connected and enjoy lessons, whether that is worksheets, flashcards or others. This way, the student can enjoy their lessons and continue learning
