Her understanding for Quadratics and Polynomial Functions is very good and she can cruise through questions related to that. We worked on some Log/Exponential questions and cleared up the gaps in that area.

We reviewed steps for applying Transformations again, so she needs to practice this more before her exam.

He was confident with applying differentiation rules to various functions, and we found areas to still refine (log and trig functions). We found one question that was related to Integration, an AOS part of U4, so we connected that to the Differentiation that he had just completed in U3. Overall, he saw how straightforward the exam is as compared to the SAC, I have asked him to complete the rest of the questions which cover U3.

He is quite good at his understanding of trig functions, but needs more practice, especially when solving for general solutions.

Refined mistakes from Polynomial question (required her to interpret structure from the shape of the graph), went through some log laws revision, as well as difference between log and exponential graphs. Still needs work on applying Transformations.

She was concerned about Pseudocode and Bisection Method, but I assured her these are not vital skills for Methods. I explained to her to attempt all questions as best she can, so she can get the maximum marks.

She had a good plan to attempt exercise questions again, and do a practice exam this week, and rectify errors and correct her understanding accordingly. She is feeling more confident with Linear Relations, and has memorised the exact values table.

She needs to focus on improving her workflow for problem solving and applying the steps correctly.
