What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Witnessing students experience those "ah-ha" moments is truly rewarding for me as a tutor. It validates the effort I put into teaching and serves as a source of motivation to continually enhance my teaching skills. These moments drive me to reflect on how I can further benefit my students' learning experience.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am a Master of Data Science student with a Masterβs degree in Material Science, and I have four years of experience tutoring high school students in math, physics, and chemistry. My tutoring has significantly advanced my students' knowledge, including one who was accepted into her first-choice university due to her improved math skills. My strong academic performance since high school has bolstered my confidence in math and science, and I am eager to share my knowledge and passion with students.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The ability to explain concepts and solve problems in multiple ways, ensuring that each student grasps the material according to their unique learning style. I can adapt to the individual needs of my students, tailoring my teaching to resonate with them effectively. Moreover, I prioritize comprehension over speed, ensuring that students thoroughly understand the material before progressing, rather than allowing them to move forward with a vague understanding.
