What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The opportunity to share my skills and knowledge with others. Not all the expertise I've gained throughout my school years will directly apply to my future career, so tutoring allows me to make the most of this valuable knowledge by helping others succeed in their education. Tutoring additionally enables me to continuously engage with the material, reinforcing my own understanding and interest in the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a suitable tutor include my strong communication skills, patience and adaptability. I aim to break down complex concepts into manageable and easy-to-understand stages. I also encourage others to work at their own pace so that they are able to fully understand each topic. I am also willing to change my methods and strategies in teaching based on individual needs and learning styles.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for their student are to provide personalised support and create a positive learning environment that they are comfortable to engage in. Every student has unique needs and learning styles, so it is essential to adapt lessons to address these individual requirements to help ensure they have gained a strong understanding of the content and can apply this knowledge effectively elsewhere. To promote a positive environment the tutor needs to be approachable, patient and enthusiastic about the subject.
