What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Seeing my tutees grow in their knowledge and passion for a subject. There's nothing more satisfying then seeing one have a "eureka" moment or having them come back for the following session with more interest and energy for the topic. Its a rewarding feeling seeing what lasting effect you can have on them and being able to compare where they started off from and how far they managed to achieve after.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a fairly strong background of tutoring informally especially in Maths, Physics and IT. Throughout my years of high school I had tutored numerous grades including my own informally even being awarded for this in my 10th grade.
I am also particularly curious and often like to search of different ways of perceiving and understanding concepts. Through this I've found that many concepts or ideas that may have been difficult for my past students to understand, I was able to explain in simpler or more tailored ways to better help with learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do is provide a enriching and safe learning environment for their tutee. Encouraging students while also providing deep guidance to the student are what contribute to this. I tend to find the people learn best when they enjoy learning instead of through academic pressure. While pressure can form diamonds, it takes careful consideration and polishing for them to shine. That's what I hope to provide as a tutor.

While understanding sigma notation proved difficult, once converted Daniel managed to complete the majority of zoom and weekly number questions
Due to the increased difficulty of content, future lessons will be more focused on learning the fundamentals as these are aspects not yet taught to Daniel in his Syllabus, he is having trouble currently with learning all the content needed at the proficiency required for completing number questions. Further practice needed for sequence sums.
