What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My favourite thing about tutoring is seeing a student slowly learn how to problem solve and solve problems for themselves. This becomes apparent when they learn new concepts intuitively and actually end up asking for me to give them more problems.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my personability is a major strength of mine as a lot of the top performing students sometimes don’t have the greatest social abilities which is crucial to be a good tutor. Secondly, I think my ability to learn on the spot and be able to teach concepts instantly is a strength of mine. Truthfully, sometimes there are questions I don’t know how to answer instantly but I can always learn within minutes and teach afterwards. Finally I have a great ability to identify weaknesses or gaps within my students’ knowledge, even if they don’t know that they don’t know it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important part of a being a tutor is to instil their students with confidence in their problem solving ability and knowledge. I personally achieve this through teaching students to intuitively understand the math and teach them ways to problem solve rather than showing them solutions to problems and expecting them to remember every type of solution like many tutors do.Subjects Tutored 🎓
