What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to help others understand topics that they find difficult and I love building that mentor-student relationship with the younger students and giving them the support they need.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that one of my strengths as a tutor would be able to adjust my teaching to suit the students' learning abilities, and also being able to build that rapport with the students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student would be to provide that extra academic support and mental support that they can receive from a former student. I believe that this will help with the student's confidence in their academic abilities, as I know that not every single teacher will be able to fully support every single student's needs.

About Rebekah

A little about me

Hi! I am a first-year university student studying my Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering (honours) degree at UNSW with a plan to study my Master of Biomedical Engineering degree afterwards. I enjoy baking, reading, exercising and going out with friends in my spare time, and I have two younger brothers who have just started high school, so you know my patience and humour is definitely tested on the daily :)

Practical Classroom Experience

This tutor has spent time as a teacher’s aide, assisting young learners in foundational academic areas and providing extra support during class activities. Through tasks like marking work and helping with playground supervision, Rebekah developed strong communication skills and patience—qualities that translate directly into her tutoring sessions. Her background allows her to relate well to students of various ages and abilities.

Strong Academic Foundation & Multilingual Skills

Currently studying mechatronic engineering, Rebekah maintains an advanced understanding of mathematics while remaining passionate about language development. She communicates fluently in English and is also proficient in Korean, allowing her to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. With her organised mindset and friendly attitude, she creates a welcoming environment where every student can thrive academically.
