As a student, i enjoy the way tutoring helps break down the work to properly develop a solid understanding of topics, rather than being rushed through it in an aim to complete the syllabus. I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is help build a student’s confidence in their work. When students believe in themselves, they’re more likely to engage with the material. Helping them adopt this kind of growth mindset especially in instances relating math where long, complex problems can seem overwhelming, is indefinitely invaluable.
