What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy tutoring as its a great oppotunity to utilise my skills for good and effect actual change for others. Supporting others and seeing them improve is such a fulfilling experience. I am really passionate about the subjects I took and I always love to share my passions with others.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are my genuine passion and curiosity for the subjects I teach. This really reflects in my teaching and makes it more engaging and interesting. Additionally, I'd say my imperfections as a student help me to connect with students and relate to them more. I am by no means a perfect student so I know how to get past barriers like procrastination and overcome personal challenges to succeed, skills that I am now able to pass along.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is build not only a survey-able understanding of the topic, but hopefully a genuine interest and passion. This might not be realistic 100% of the time, but creating actual curiosity and interest beyond just completing work out of necessity can not only be highly rewarding for the student but will also motivate them to investigate further, work hard in the subject, and hopefully improve.
