I think the best thing is seeing people enjoy maths, as in their face lights up and they're excited to go through questions. The satisfaction that comes from that makes it incredibly worthwhile.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think some of my strengths is being knowledgable in the content as you have to know the content in order to teach it. Apart from that, my biggest strengths comes from my active listening and empathy. I understand that student's can and will struggle at times, and I am able to listen attentively to understand their issues in order to help and encourage them. I am also able to break down larger ideas into smaller bits, making it easier to understand.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Just being a mentor-like figure is a big one. Someone that the student can rely on. I believe that a tutor that listens to their student and is flexible to work around the student's needs can help bring out the best potential for the student, especially with different learning styles.
