What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The fact that it is a rewarding experience for both students and teacher. When I see a student showing improvement and confidence in solving problems that were difficult earlier, it makes me feel proud that I was able to help them in the process. Also, I enjoy interactive study sessions with students who ask doubts fearlessly which indicates their will to learn and the trust they place in me to help them understand concepts seamlessly. I enjoy preparing techniques to help students remember simple steps to solve complex problems as well as evaluating their improvement periodically.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that every student has a unique learning and growing curve. It is important as a tutor to be patient with each student. This is to give them confidence that I am willing to clear doubts/correct their mistakes with a pleasant attitude at all times. Secondly, I try my best to ensure there is a balance in my way of teaching. It is important not to overwhelm students with too many questions at once as well as not giving up on a student who is struggling with concepts which can be solved by showing compassion all along the way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

First and foremost, giving them respect in the way they're spoken to as well as being taught. If a student is feeling intimidated with the syllabus, it is a tutor's duty to instill confidence by being approachable and attentive at all times. Secondly, a good tutor knows scheduling classes in a fun and interactive manner so that the students actually enjoy the tutoring sessions and look forward to the next ones rather than feeling stressed about them. Leaving a good impression goes a long way and it is rewarding to be remembered as a tutor who helped them grow and improve tremendously.
