What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am very interested in tutoring as I'd like to give back into my community and help children who are struggling to understand certain concepts. Some children require excessive learning as they struggle to understand topics in class due to pressure in class as well as embarrassment in class. I'd like the connection I form with my student to allow them to be confident to speak up on what they are struggling with so that I am able to effectively help them enhance their knowledge. Not only will it help my student, it will also allow myself to deepen my knowledge in simple concepts.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a strong maths foundation with understanding simple maths concepts as I am an aviation student, studying to become a pilot. My communication skills are very co-operative and respectful, I am able to understand when a student is struggling and how they are feeling based on their peformance. I am very approachable, so students will be confident and comfortable enough to specify whether they not help or not. With my experience as an aviation student in uni, and i just completed year 12 last year, I am also able to display a strong work ethic as well as teach strong study skills to my studeMost important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that tutors need to not only teach topics to students, but they must also be able to build the students confidence in their progress. Learning must be interesting and engaging as students must enjoy the process of learning for them to fully understand the topics as they will only peform well in engaging discussions. Adapting to the students learning style is also very important, as some students need visual aids and some need step by step applications. As a tutor, it is responsibility to also develop the students critical thinking and problem solving skills as well.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
