What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love the feeling of teaching a concept and seeing a student being able to apply my rules and get a question right.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very visual person who likes to make concepts as easy as possible. I like to break questions down to their core rules and explaining why it is the way it is. That way you can apply that logic to future questions. I always bring a whiteboard with me to lessons aswell, I believe visualising is the way to learn. I also achieved a 96 in Mathematics Standard in the HSC.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be non-judgemental, getting a tutor can be a little confronting for students so making sure their comfortable is a huge priority. Another thing is making sure you know the student understands a concept before moving on, it's easy for a student to say "yes I understand" even when they dont, therefore ensuring that you keep tackling the same concepts and breaking it down until you know for sure they understand. Another important thing is repitition, so getting students to do some questions in their own time is key to success, practice is key.
