With a Level 1 Basketball Coach’s Certificate and extensive involvement in junior sports development, Darby incorporates active engagement into his tutoring style. He has coached basketball squads and mentored young athletes, including supporting a teenager with Autism to participate confidently in team sports. These experiences enable him to connect with students through relatable interests, fostering motivation and teamwork skills alongside academic growth.

As a former Sports House Captain and experienced representative athlete, Darby understands the importance of leadership and positive role modelling for young learners.
