What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the feeling of helping someone finally "get it." It is really rewarding to see that moment when a concept clicks or when a student finishes a question they were stuck on. I have always been strong in academics, so being able to use that to help others feels fulfilling. I love breaking things down in a way that makes sense to them and seeing their confidence grow as they start to understand the material better.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my strong academic background. I understand the content really well, which helps me explain it clearly. I am also good at breaking things down in different ways depending on how the student learns best, whether that is through examples, visuals, or step-by-step walkthroughs. On top of that, I am very patient. I know that learning takes time, and I am always happy to go over something as many times as needed until it clicks.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do is create a space where the student feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Learning can be frustrating at times, so it is really important to be encouraging and supportive. A good tutor does not just help with the content - they help build the student's confidence. It is also important to explain things in a way that suits how the student learns best and to be patient enough to go over things at their pace. It is all about helping them feel capable and making sure they truly understand the material, not just memorise it.
