What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing a student’s confidence grow and knowledge expand over time. I love being part of those moments when a student finally understands something and they feel proud of themselves. Personally, it feels like a reward to build that relationship with students where they are able to feel supported, understood and motivated to learn, especially when they start to enjoy learning more because of my support. It shows to me that my teaching is effective and motivates myself to be even better.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor include being patient, encouraging, and a strong communicator, especially to a young age group. With also being a full time student doing Primary Education, I am able to recognise different learning styles within students and can easily adapt to their specific one that would work best for productivity. I am also good at breaking down concepts that would be difficult to them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To me, the most important things a tutor can do is to build the student’s confidence, personalise the learning to their needs to be able to help them develop their learning skills. I believe that building trust and a positive environment where students can feel at ease to ask me questions and make mistakes as tutoring is not just about helping them get the right answers but also it’s about giving them the right support for them to be able to think critically.
