What do I enjoy most about tutoring? š
Getting to know students and passing on tricks and tips I've personally developed throughout my schooling career, often unique techniques that haven't been taught.
My Strengths as Tutor šŖ
Finding unique ways to interpret notes and study material so that it is easily memorisable and understandable for the student. In addition to understanding that often times a lack of attention comes from a lack of confidence in their own abilities, which can be improved upon by positive reinforcement.
Most important things I can do for a student š
Encouraging them and reminding them that their school marks are not what entirely defines them as a good student. On top of providing them with academic support and guidance that they can apply to other fields. For instance, how to structure an exemplar essay or simply how to construct a study timetable.

About Jia
Education
I'm currently an undergraduate student studying Medical Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). My academic background has given me a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and human physiology, and Iām passionate about helping others understand and excel in these areas.
Other Subjects
In addition to my science background, I have a strong passion for Ancient and Modern History, which I studied extensively during high school. This enthusiasm has stayed with me, and Iām confident in my ability to help students develop a deeper understanding of historical content, improve their essay-writing skills, and prepare effectively for assessments.
