What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I find the most enjoyment in tutoring by assisting others in their growth and comprehension of new concepts. Breaking down intricate subjects into easier, more digestible parts is something I truly relish, and witnessing my students gain confidence and enhance their abilities is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, forming personal connections with them and shouldering the responsibility of guiding someone through their learning process are aspects that I also find pleasure in.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I excel as a tutor by effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. When facing difficult subjects, I demonstrate patience and can tailor my explanations to suit the student's individual learning approach. Additionally, I am deeply committed to guiding students to achieve their goals and consistently go above and beyond to guarantee their comprehensive understanding of the material. My adept listening skills enable me to identify areas of difficulty and offer specific, personalized assistance.
Most important things I can do for a student π
In the role of a tutor, it's crucial to maintain a calm and composed demeanor, regardless of the complexity of the situation. Instead of getting agitated or raising my voice, I believe in using peaceful and constructive communication to assist students through their challenges. Providing encouragement and empathy is far more effective in helping them feel at ease, which results in improved learning. Establishing a positive and respectful environment enables students to freely ask questions and make mistakes without anxiety, which is vital for their development.

About Aarohi
About me
Hi! My name is Aarohi Thakar, and Iβm a patient, friendly, and caring tutor who loves working with young children. Iβm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at RMIT University, where Iβm learning a lot about child development and how kids learn best. I really enjoy helping little learners build their confidence, stay curious, and feel proud of their progress no matter how big or small. I always aim to make learning fun, engaging, and suited to each childβs unique pace and personality. With a calm and encouraging approach, Iβm here to support each student every step of the way.
Hobbies
Outside of studying, I really enjoy spending time doing things that help me relax and have fun. I love cooking, especially trying out new recipes or baking something sweet. I also like swimming and going to the gym because they keep me active and feeling good. In quieter moments, I play the piano, which helps me clear my head. Hanging out with my friends is one of my favourite things to do. Itβs always a good time and gives me a break from everything else.
